The
archive is usually open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays and
Thursdays but as staffing is entirely by volunteers, dates are
sometimes affected by holidays or other commitments. A prior
appointment is therefore advisable.
We
recommend that in the first place, intending visitors write to the
Trust at De Salis Drive, Hampton Lovett, Droitwich, WR9 0QE (with s.a.e. please) or e-mail kitheadtrust@live.co.uk, detailing as fully as
possible what they seek. We will respond as quickly as our resources
permit and advise whether we are likely to be able to help and if so
giving brief details. If a visit is then considered worthwhile an
appointment can be made by e-mail or telephone.
There
is no scale of charges for access to the archive but as the Trust’s
running costs (rates, electricity, insurance and service charges
&c) are substantial and have to be met entirely through voluntary
support, researchers are usually glad to provide a donation by way of
recognition.
